35 Tapes is a Norwegian Prog band formed in 2018 with a current three album discography, accumulating decent reviews and noticeable praise for their remarkably audiophile approach to music production.
The band’s name hails from the 35 tape loops in the Mellotron – a clear reference to their musical aspirations of conveying a contemporary twist on classical progressive rock. Incredible dynamics, wonderfully warm and sometimes dark atmospheres characterize their sound, with critiques comparing their symphonic grandeur to the likes of King Crimson, Genesis, as well as the melancholy art-rock of Talk Talk and David Sylvian.
After mostly focusing on studio production, the band’s seasoned musicians have now decided to take their cinematic musical journey to the live stage and is thrilled to offer their availability to play at your [Festival Name] in [Date], with flexibility on dates.
Upcoming live performances currently include the Terra Incognita Festival in Quebec, Canada, in mid-May, as well as some sporadic gig dates in Norway throughout 2024.
